At the heart of Ghien is our head chef, Henry, whose journey began in the charming coastal town of Lang Co, Vietnam. Known for its pristine beaches and fresh seafood, Lang Co inspired Henry’s passion for authentic, flavorful dishes. Later, his teenage years in the bustling streets of Saigon, a city bursting with energy and creativity, added another layer of influence to his culinary journey.
Henry's vision for Ghien is to bring the best of both worlds - Lang Co’s coastal flavors and Saigon’s urban vibe - to Hastings. Our menu is a love letter to Vietnam, offering classic dishes like Banh Mi, Pho, and sizzling plates that come alive on fire. Complementing the food is our inventive cocktail menu, with signature drinks like the Banh Mi Martini, Pho Cocktail, and the elegant Miss Ao Dai.
